Microsoft Fixes Windows 11 Wi-Fi Connectivity Issue for Universities and Public Networks

Microsoft announced a fix for a problem in the Windows 11 system that causes devices to disconnect from Wi-Fi networks in universities, educational institutions, and public networks.
The company recently acknowledged the existence of the problem after increasing complaints, confirming the failure of connecting to Wi-Fi networks on some users’ devices after installing updates KB5032288 and KB5033375 as part of the cumulative updates for Windows 11 during the month of December.
The problem was resolved through the (Known Issues Undo) tool known as KIR in the Windows system, and the repair is expected to take up to 24 hours automatically on all affected devices, and the process of restarting Windows devices may help to speed up the repair process, without the need for any Changes by user.
It should be noted that the problem mainly affected universities, companies, and public Internet networks, while Microsoft confirmed that home networks were not affected to the same degree.
Some users deleted the latest cumulative update for Windows 11 to restore connectivity to Wi-Fi networks, and this solution proved effective before the company confirmed the existence of the problem and solved it.
Currently, users can download the latest updates for Windows 11 without worrying about their impact on the stability of the Wi-Fi connection on their devices.
