In fact, this year, legitimate users of older versions of Windows can still upgrade for free through a specific link, as long as they can find the link. At the same time, in addition to upgrading the original computer, users who use genuine Windows legal keys can also clean install Windows 10 or Windows 11 on another computer.
butMicrosoft said last week, the installation pipeline for Windows 7/8 free upgrades has now been removed. Windows 10 PCs can still upgrade to Windows 11.
However, Microsoft still reminds that in order to upgrade to Windows 11, in addition to being legally authorized, the computer device must also meet the minimum hardware specifications.
Some Windows 11 features are not available in Windows 10. For example, the Copilot AI assistant was just deployed to Windows 11 last week, as well as a number of native Windows functions such as “Little Painter” and “Cut and Paste Tool” that have added AI functions.
