10 MILLION CARDS STEAL OVER 2 YEARS
The Microsoft employee, who initially started with small amounts between 10 and 100 dollars, bought more Bitcoins by applying the same method with different methods. Among these methods, the most used method was to make purchases in bulk by hiding the place where he bought the gift cards, and then to buy gift cards again with cryptocurrencies. The employee, who continued these transactions for about 2 years, stole 152 thousand Xbox gift cards worth a total of 10.1 million dollars. Caught by the FBI, Kvashuk was sentenced to 9 years in prison.
