Previously, current-generation game consoles went up in price in Japan, and now consoles in Sweden have received new price tags
Microsoft has set new price tags for its current generation Xbox Series X and Series S game consoles in Sweden:
- Xbox Series X went up from 5,695 ($550) to 6,195 ($599) SEK
- Xbox Series S is now 3,894 ($376) SEK from 3,595 ($347)
At the request of journalists to comment on the increase in the cost of gaming devices, Microsoft did not respond.
In January, Microsoft already adopted, as she said, “difficult decision”, making the Xbox Series X|S consoles more expensive by about $40 in Japan.
In December 2022, Microsoft announced that all games from its studios will be $10 more expensive. The changes have already affected Redfall, Starfield and the new Forza Motorsport.
