From the last generation we can see the great involvement of Microsoft to preserve its legacy and history. This is thanks to the backward compatibility, titles that range from the original Xbox, Xbox 360 and more recently Xbox One. This function allows us to enjoy a large number of titles from past generations, and these usually receive new optimization and performance updates.
Those of Redmond have not stopped working on backward compatibility, what’s more, recently we received a new functionality in our Xbox Series called FPS Boost; which allows us to play a large number of titles with a stable 60 frames per second.
Backward compatibility will continue to come to Xbox
Many users wonder if backward compatibility will continue to come to Xbox, since, except for Bethesda titles, we have not received any news about it for a long time.
A Twitter user asked Jason Ronald, director of Xbox programs and in charge of backward compatibility, if he continued working on the project, to which he answered yes. This means that at no time has Microsoft shelved the project and we could have new news about it soon.
Yep
