Microsoft decided today to end testing the new Xbox Home and thanked the players for their cooperation. Ivy Krislov (Senior Product Manager, Xbox Experiences) confirmed that players can expect “bigger updates” to be released soon.
We want to thank everyone who took part in the months of testing. Today we are pausing testing to prepare for the major updates we will be releasing soon. This means that Xbox Insiders Alpha and Alpha-Skip users who used the Home test version will revert back to the Xbox Home they originally used.
The Microsoft representative mentioned an important detail – Microsoft has listened to feedback regarding the top of the menu. This is where the community expects more space to enjoy their art, and apparently we can count on the changes that will be made.
The company is working to “balance experience, accessibility, functionality and community needs”, while Microsoft wants to provide a breath of fresh air from using the new Home.
