Jakarta, CNBC Indonesia Xbox game consoles can not compete. This was revealed directly by the CEO of Microsoft Gaming, Phil Spencer.

He bluntly said that the Xbox could not win over the Nintendo and Sony product lines. This is because Sony and Nintendo console users cannot switch to Xbox just because it provides good games.

“Even if we make the greatest game, you won’t see a dramatic change in market share,” he was quoted as saying NY PostTuesday (9/5/2023).

He added that Microsoft had lost since launching the Xbox One.

“We can’t beat Sony or Nintendo. There really isn’t a best solution for us,” said Spencer.

Currently, Xbox will focus on subscription services Game Pass and Xcloud. In addition, the company will also ensure gameit works seamlessly on all devices.

Spencer also alludes to gamers’ tendency to go back in time.

“I see a lot of people who miss the days when games had cartridges and discs,” he says.

According to Spencer, the desired thing will not happen now. “That’s not the world we’re in now. There’s no world where Starfield is 11 out of 10 and people are selling P5s. That’s not going to happen,” Spencer said.
