Microsoft Begins Rolling Out Windows 11 22H2 Update – Computers – News

Microsoft has started shipping Windows 11 version 22H2. It is the first major version update for Microsoft’s operating system, which brings numerous improvements.

According to Neowin, the first Windows 11 users have already downloaded and installed the update. This makes the former voices of a confirmed September 20 release. Microsoft usually releases major updates for Windows in the fall.

The Windows 11 update is available from June as build preview. Therefore, it is no longer a surprise which parts and features have been improved in the Microsoft operating system. Task manager has been updated in this update. This mainly concerns the aspect of the task manager that is being renewed.

Additionally, Microsoft has tackled the taskbar. For example, after installing the update, users can open apps by dragging them to the taskbar. The taskbar also gets an overflow feature, which apps are placed on a separate menu if there is no more room for an icon on the taskbar.
