Microsoft asks Xbox owners if they miss PlayStation features in controller – Gaming – News

I recently bought an Xbox One controller for my PC, and I love that it can just hold AA batteries.

We seem to have the same goal, but want the exact opposite solution. By using batteries I can not only continue the next day with a full controller, I can now continue without having to wireless device must hang from a cable.

I still have a lot of remotes, mice, flashlights and mood lighting that use AA or AAA batteries, and the vape or electronics enthusiast often has 18650 lithium cells too. It amazes me that so many people do not have a battery charger at home, whether or not one from the time when almost nothing had a fixed battery.

Perhaps it would be ideal if Xbox controllers come with a battery compartment that is too big for AA batteries, a battery that can be charged by the controller, and some sort of insert adapter that allows you to use AA batteries without allowing the controller accidentally tries to charge alkaline batteries.

I am still looking for a good replacement for my Performance MX mouse. Empty battery from the mouse, full from the charger, in the mouse, empty in the charger, and on again.
