Guatemala City, Jun 4 (AGN) .- Microsoft, the tech giant, and Albavision come together to support the central government in connectivity in rural areas.
The initiative joins efforts to reduce the digital divide and bring connectivity to rural areas, reported the Ministry of Communications, Infrastructure and Housing (CIV).
The plan to bring connectivity to rural areas began this week with a pilot plan in the Los Ríos village, San Vicente Pacaya, Escuintla.
Increased productivity is expected in benefited communities, shared the CIV.
Technical support
The portfolio led by Josué Lemus will provide accompaniment and technical support to the connectivity plan in the province. It will be for the benefit of the population and will contribute to economic reactivation.
Message
The CIV reported that these types of initiatives and alliances are positive for meeting the objectives of rural connectivity from continuous work in telecommunications.
Projects
