This version features the unique elements of the ‘Age of Empires’ series while providing an intuitive and accessible play experience to console players.
Enjoy over 200 hours of gameplay spanning 35 civilizations and spanning over 1000 years of human history.
The real-time strategy game Age of Empires 2: Definitive Edition has undergone approximately 40 updates, 3 DLC additions and continuous improvement work since its release in 2019, 83 maps, 42 multiplayer civilizations, 34 single player campaigns, 10 It offers a multiplayer mode and 7 cooperative campaigns.
Age of Empires II: Definitive Edition is available through Xbox Game Pass on Xbox Series X|S and Xbox One consoles and Xbox Cloud Gaming (Beta). In addition, to commemorate the release, a special mode will be supported until February 14th.
