Microsoft continues to add games to competing platforms

Popular games from the Doom, Quake and Wolfenstein series are coming soon to GeForce Now cloud streaming. Nvidia announced the news directly on its blog. However, these are not the only new games that will appear on the service this month. It will also include, for example, Atlas Fallen, successful Wreckfest races or the online RPG Wayfinder. GeForce Now users can also now play Baldur’s Gate III, one of the most anticipated games of this year.

The addition of Bethesda games was an expected move. Microsoft recently concluded a ten-year cooperation agreement not only with Nvidia, but also with other competing services for cloud gaming. So we will see games belonging to Microsoft in places other than xCloud. This cooperation was closed due to the acquisition of Activision and the calming of the situation with the regulatory authorities. After all, this acquisition was recently the subject of a lawsuit.
But it’s not just about Microsoft. Baldur’s Gate III is undoubtedly the main title not only in GeForce Now this month. It is an expected RPG that is breaking sales records in its genre. More than 800,000 players played the game on Steam at one point, making it the ninth most played game on the platform. And these are definitely well-deserved numbers. After playing about fifty hours, I can safely say that it is a great game and nothing like it has been released for years. We’ll get to Baldur’s Gate III in a full review shortly.
We still have to wait for the specific details of which Bethesda games will be involved. Only Wolfenstein: The New Order has been confirmed for now. Gradually, however, almost the entire catalog should appear. In addition, another 41 new or older games from other publishers and studios will arrive in August.
