Microsoft is planning to streamline its Microsoft 365 apps by consolidating them onto a single domain, cloud.microsoft. This move will simplify the process of locating specific services, as currently, the company’s apps are spread across multiple domains, causing confusion for users. By using URLs like “outlook.cloud.microsoft” and “teams.cloud.microsoft,” accessing these apps will be much easier. Although existing workloads make the transition more complex, Microsoft says that users won’t need to do anything in most cases, making this a small but highly appreciated change. Supported by a GIF from the company, users can see how much cleaner the new system will work.
