Micromobility.com Makes Non-Binding Offer for Bankrupt Dutch E-Bike Company VanMoof

Micromobility.com says it has made a non-binding offer for the Dutch company ‘which has been positively received’. We are now working on a final offer. Nothing is said about the amount of the offer. The big boss of Micromobility.com says that VanMoof’s “strong reputation, innovative e-bike technology and unique subscription model” fits well with the vision of the American company.

If the acquisition is successful, Micromobility.com plans to use the technology and subscription model in its own products. Currently, the company does not make e-bikes. VanMoof was declared bankrupt on July 18. The Dutch e-bike company immediately announced that it was investigating whether a restart is possible.
