Mickey Guyton, Darren Criss, Zoe Wees, Jon Batiste, Kim Petras, Nelly and Kristin Chenoweth are among the stars who will perform today at the annual Macy’s Thanksgiving parade in New York City.
Following last year’s crowd-free event, Macy’s annual Thanksgiving Parade is back in full force for 2021. The department store’s 95th celebration will take place on Thursday, November 25, where it will retrace its traditional 2.5-hour route. miles through Manhattan, from the Upper West side to Midtown.
This year, pop culture franchises, brands and businesses will once again get their names in front of live audiences, as the public returns to watch the floats, balloons and live performances of the parade. Macy’s is also taking part in the NFT action and auctioning off 10 digital art pieces inspired by inflatable floats from decades past, with all proceeds going to the Make-A-Wish Foundation.
This year’s Thanksgiving parade features a plethora of celebrity tricks. Mickey Guyton recently won three nominations for the upcoming 64e Grammy Awards annuels for Best Country Album with her recent September 24 debut album, Remember Her Name, and for Best Country Solo Performance and Best Country Song for the title track.
Guyton recently performed at the American Music Awards and the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony for Tina Turner. CMT Breakout Artist of the Year has upcoming performances on Macy’s Thanksgiving Parade this week and the annual Christmas tree lighting at Rockefeller Center on December 1.

Zoe Wees gave a powerful performance of her women’s empowerment anthem, “Girls Like Us,” Sunday night (November 21) at the American Music Awards. 19-year-old German singer-songwriter The performance came as part of the new “AMA Song For Soul Moment,” which celebrated the power of music and artists who amplify their voices to inspire change.
