Mick Schumacher “Very disappointed with Haas F1 team’s decision”[F1-Gate.com]

Mick Schumacher has released a statement following the news that he will be leaving the Haas F1 team at the end of the season. He expressed his deep disappointment with the team’s decision and said he had done enough to prove he deserved a future in F1.

Haas F1 Team announced on November 17 (Thursday), ahead of the final round of F1’s Abu Dhabi GP, that Mick Schumacher, who served as driver for two seasons, will be leaving the team. He has since announced that Nico Hulkenberg will take over from him.

“This will be my last race with Haas F1 Team,” said Mick Schumacher.

“I don’t want to hide the fact that I am very disappointed with the decision not to renew my contract.”

“Having said that, I would like to thank both Haas F1 and Ferrari for giving me this opportunity. When it got tough, I realized how much I love this sport.”

“It’s been bumpy at times, but I’ve improved steadily, learned a lot and now I’m sure I deserve a place in F1.”

“Setbacks only make you stronger. My passion for F1 is burning and I will fight hard to get back on the grid.”
