Mick Schumacher 'This year hasn't been my year' / F1 Brazilian GP[F1-Gate.com]

Mick Schumacher (Haas F1 Team) finished the Final of the Brazilian Grand Prix of F1 2022 in 13th place.

Mick Schumacher finished last in the sprint while his teammate Kevin Magnussen took pole position. Expectations were high for a leap forward in the second year but he has been completely overshadowed this year by Magnussen and it is believed he will certainly lose his place this season.

Mick Schumacher was asked to score points by the team owner but failed to do so this weekend. “This year hasn’t been my year,” he recalled.

“The medium tire didn’t work well and I struggled a lot. With the softs I was much more comfortable and I felt more competitive”.

“Maybe I stretched my first stint a bit too much, but I don’t know how long the soft tires will last and overall it went well.”

“Sometimes it’s my year, sometimes it’s not and I don’t think this year has been my year. I still have one race left so I’ll do my best.”
