European Enduro Championship in Germany Mick Rasmanis started in the “juniori 1” class, where the competition was quite fierce. On both the first and second day of the competition, Mick ranked 14th out of 17 junior participants 1.

“The weather was very good. It was warm and pleasant. On Friday I crashed during a test run, hit my elbow and hurt myself a little. I was hoping that everything was fine. I got up on Saturday, the start was early, already at eight in the morning, but it was a big bet and I wanted to run. As I drove up the hill, I hadn’t noticed a branch of a tree that was about two meters above the top of the hill. first try, there was as soon as the first five minutes of the race passed when I hit my head with a tree branch while jumping. At first I didn’t even understand what had happened. Only after that my father Janis Rasmanis he said I hit a branch with my head. I got up, my head was off, but I had to continue the race. The first day I suffered a few more falls, ” says Miks Rasmanis.

This was a new experience for Mick, as he had never ridden such a hilly track. “It was difficult, but I expected it to be even more difficult. Overall, hill driving went well. The ride was similar to Cross country skiing – from tapes. There were ups and downs, there were also holes kochka, the trunks were still assembled, they had to travel a maximum of two kilometers on the asphalt. It has been a great career. ”

There were three in total speed stages. The first test was through the forest: it was the shortest. The other was along a lawn, a power line. The third: the longest, six kilometers, 13 minutes, a test. There you had to drive up and down the mountain, there were stones, there was a puddle. It was interesting, I enjoyed the tests. Was cold, but somehow this time he was unsuccessful in this competition. I was unable to set the lap times I wanted. I have experienced falls, like nothing like that, but in one of them I broke my leg. In general, the falls were painful. I finished the competition, I gained experience, this is the main thing. Competition was strong. Now I know what to aim for. Many thanks to the “ KTM Orange Racing ” team, who helped me achieve one of my small goals this year, ” said Miks Rasmanis, who finished 65th out of all 94 participants.
