Michoacán accumulates 2 adverse reactions due to anticovid vaccine

MORELIA, Mich., March 21, 2021.- In the months of application of the vaccine against Covid 19, a series of reactions of people to the biological have been reported, which are classified as Events Supposedly Attributable to Vaccination or Immunization (ESAVI ).

This implies that the person, upon receiving the vaccine, may have some incidence in their health status derived from some previous ailments that could be triggered by the biological one, and that can range from mild to severe.

Michoacán, according to the report of the federal Ministry of Health (Ssa), has registered two cases in the accumulated time since the vaccination day began.

Mexico City registers 16; Hidalgo eight; Chihuahua and Jalisco have seven each state; State of Mexico and Oaxaca report six; Coahuila five; Baja California and Nayarit four; Aguascalientes, Guanajuato, and Tabasco three.

Baja California Sur, Campeche, Colima, Guerrero, Michoacán, San Luis Potosí, Sonora, Tamaulipas and Veracruz report two cases, and Durango, Querétaro, Quintana Roo, Tlaxcala and Yucatán report one case of reaction.

The director of Epidemiological Surveillance of Noncommunicable Diseases, Gabriela Nucamendi, affirmed that, since the beginning of the immunization, until this March 20, there have been a total of 12,242 reported cases of these reactions in the country.

Of these, 95 have been considered serious, being 31 men and 64 women; and of these, in turn, 17 are still hospitalized; 79 have been reactions to the Pfizer vaccine; seven for AstraZeneca, and nine for Sinovac.
