Michigan: Shooting at the famous Michigan State University campus in the US. Several people were injured in the firing that took place at two places inside the university campus. The shooting took place near an academic building known as Burke Hall and an athletic facility called IM East. It is suspected that one person died in the shooting. The police asked the students and teachers to take shelter in a safe place.
Police evacuated people from the place where the shooting took place. Videos of police officers gathering in the campus are circulating.
The police said that the shot was fired by a short man wearing a mask who came on foot. The university was closed for 48 hours after the shooting. The University of Michigan is home to more than 50,000 undergraduate and graduate students.
