Michigan confidence index picks up a bit

(CercleFinance.com) – The University of Michigan consumer confidence index was measured at 72.3 points in May, while economists expected it on average at 74 points.

The ‘UMich’ index is therefore up slightly compared to its level posted for the month of April. It was then 71.8 points.
