Michigan confidence index on the rise

(CercleFinance.com) – The University of Michigan consumer confidence index was measured at 78.9 points in a preliminary estimate in September.

Economists were anticipating it, on average, at 75 points.

The ‘UMich’ index is therefore up from its level posted for August, which was 74.1.
