Michigan confidence index down

(CercleFinance.com) – The University of Michigan consumer confidence index was measured at 72.5 points in July, while economists expected it to average 73 points.

If it is slightly disappointing, the ‘UMich’ index is above all noticeably down compared to its level posted for the month of June. It then stood at 78.1 points.
