After a whopping 19 years of engagement, Michelle Yeoh and her partner Jean Todt have finally tied the knot and got married. This happy news was announced in a fun way via social media, with some fun images being shared to celebrate the special moment.

After his activities at Ferrari, Todt was elected in 2009 as the new president of the International Automobile Association. In that time he has made several changes and at the end of 2021 he handed over the baton to the current president of the FIA: Mohammed Ben Sulayem. Yeoh, who became the first Asian woman ever to win an Oscar in March, tied the knot on Thursday at an intimate ceremony in Geneva, Switzerland. The actress, known from the movie Everything Everywhere All At Once, shared this special day with her best friends, including her husband Todt.

Fairytale encounter

Yeoh and Todt first met in Shanghai, China, and Yeoh described this meeting as “a real fairy tale” during an interview with The Financial Times. Todt, who was instrumental in helping Ferrari win multiple world championships before becoming FIA president until 2021, has previously revealed Michael Schumacher helped draft his first-ever text message to Yeoh.
