There are no longer any doubts: Michele Mignani will be the next coach of Palermo. The former Bari coach has accepted the conditions offered by the Viale del Fante club and is ready to join the Rosanero club until the end of the season with an option on the next one.
The impasse into which the negotiation had entered has finally been resolved: the official announcement will arrive shortly. Eugenio Corini was informed of his dismissal a few minutes ago. This stalemate with Mignani had led the Rosanero managers to also contact Massimiliano Alvini, who was available to ferry the club. The choice, however, fell on the former Bari coach.
The coach will move from Bari, where he currently lives, towards Palermo between tonight and tomorrow: the rosanero finally have a new coach. The athletic trainer Giorgio D’Urbano will also arrive in Palermo with Mignani. The professor, originally from Chieti, worked in Bari with Mignani and boasts great experience. He also worked in volleyball and was Alberto Tomba’s athletic trainer.
