It left everyone stunned and saddened the disappearance of Michele Merlo, the twenty-eight-year-old singer who attended the talent show Friends by Maria De Filippi in 2017 with the stage name Mike Bird. He died after being hit by a cerebral hemorrhage and leaving the world of music and the Italian public speechless. And, now, the sad time has come to celebrate the funeral.
It took some time before we set a date to be able to give a final farewell to Mike Bird. First of all it was necessary to proceed with one autopsy to establish the causes of death. To determine the disappearance of Michele was officially a fulminant leukemia, which triggered the fatal cerebral hemorrhage. Little did they help the visit to the emergency room, where he went personally, and the operation carried out urgently at the Maggiore hospital in Bologna with admission to intensive care.
Organizing everything down to the smallest detail to allow Michele Merlo’s loved ones and all his numerous supporters to say goodbye to the artist for the last time must not have been easy. The funeral home will be set up on Wednesday 16 June at the Pantheon of the Certosa di Bologna and will be accessible from 9 to 16.
The funeral, on the other hand, will be held in Michele’s hometown. The function will be held on Friday 18 June at 5 pm in Rosà, Vicenza, at Villa Marchiorello, Località Ca ‘Minotto.
