She was the first voice that the listeners of Studio Brussel heard early in the morning, but after two and a half years, Michèle Cuvelier gives up as presenter of the morning show. After the summer, she will hand over the torch to Fien Germijns.

This autumn it will no longer be Michèle Cuvelier (29), but Fien Germijns (26) who wakes up the listeners of Studio Brussel. After all, Cuvelier will stop as presenter of the morning show in September, after two and a half years. ‘I really enjoyed waking up with the StuBru listeners. There is no better way to wipe the mess out of the eyes early in the morning. ‘
However, Cuvelier’s exit at the morning show does not mean that she will disappear from the radar. “She will remain an absolute stronghold of StuBru in the new season,” says net head Jan Van Biesen. ‘I am very enthusiastic about the new plans.’ What those plans are exactly will remain a secret for the time being.
Successor Fien Germijns is delighted with her new role. ‘I’m the kind of person who peaks between 6-9 AM. I don’t get it myself, but it does come in handy. Nothing feels better than the drops of sweat from the morning rush and a sticky cup from the coffee. ‘
