After years of absence, Michel Polnareff is finally back on stage. For the occasion, the singer gave an interview on RTL during which he confided in many subjects. To know, his habit which “drives crazy” his producer.

We no longer present Michel Polnareff. Born in 1944, he is indeed one of the most emblematic French artists of his generation.
As a reminder, it was in 1966 that he released his very first hit titled “La Poupee qui fait non”. Since then, he has chained songs that have been successful. Among which we can cite, “Letter to France”, “Love Me, Please Love Me”, “I am a man” and many others.
In short, professionally speaking, it must be said that Michel Polnareff is an accomplished artist. And despite the difficult periods he had to go through during his career, he is not yet ready to say goodbye to his public.
The 78-year-old singer is indeed from return to the stage after seven years of absence. And it is precisely for this occasion that we found it on the airwaves RTLon May 24.
During his interview, the famous artist also delivered on his impressions about his comeback.
“There is no big return, there is no small return. I never felt like I was really coming back, I felt like I was continuing stages. I feel an urge to speak to the public again,” he said.
But that day, the singer also confided in his habit which “often drives you crazy” its producers. Namely the fact of never rehearsing before going on stage.
“I don’t want to tire my voice out before I need it,” he revealed.
Details on his new tour
During his interview, Michel Polnareff let it be known that he has launched a new tour, after his long years of absence. And for the first time in his career, the singer will go up on a 360° stage.
On this subject, he had fun:
“There, there is a central stage, I’ve never done that. I’m going to see if I have the impression of spinning like in a microwave”. Before declaring: “I usually have them at 180°, we double the bet”.
In fact, the interpreter of “We will all go to paradise” has already prepared everything for his new tour. And to mark the latter, there will be novelties.
Speaking of novelty, the singer confided to the microphone of RTL that his concert will indeed begin with a first part where he will be alone at the piano.
“It’s something I’ve never done so I can’t explain how I’m going to feel. I have to face it, but I can’t wait,” he said. Before adding: “I love it when I see another version of my songs. Contrary to what we are always told, that we don’t dare to do things, we have to dare, it’s great”.
The confidences of Michel Polnareff on his son
Apart from his big comeback on stage, Michel Polnareff also made a few secrets about his private life on the airwaves of RTL.
For example, he confided in his 12-year-old son Louka. But also on his next birthday that he would like to celebrate in the presence of his loved ones.
For information, the famous singer will blow out its 79th candle on July 3. For this big day, he therefore wants his family to be present by his side, and in particular his son.
“It’s really planned that he be there, especially for my birthday, with his mother Danyellah,” he said during his interview.
Speaking of his son Louka, it should be noted that the latter is not the biological child of Michel Polnareff. He is, however, the son of his wife Danyellah, but was notably conceived with the seed of an anonymous donor.
Indeed, the famous singer adopted him in 2016. And although the boy is not of his blood, he always considered it his.
Moreover, the interpreter of the song “Goodbye Marylou” made him his main heir. And this, after his wife, Danyellah.
