After unveiling his candidacy on Friday in an interview with the daily Le Figaro, the founder of the newspapers ParuVendu and Le 10 Sport, who will be 60 years old on Tuesday, detailed his program.
He wants to be the candidate of a “useful break” to raise in particular amateur football “at the end of life”. Associated with various personalities from the political, entrepreneurial and sporting worlds, it articulates its program around 35 proposals, including the appointment of 18 “renowned” ambassadors called upon to act on the ground in the various regions, the launch of a emergency Covid or the restructuring of management functions at the FFF.

The support of Olmeta, Luyindula and Squarcini
The former club leader and advisor (Red Star, Istres, Le Mans or briefly at Paris SG), counts for this on various supports: former judoka and minister David Douillet, the former boss of the Central Directorate of internal intelligence (DCRI) Bernard Squarcini or former players Pascal Olmeta, Peguy Luyindula and Fabien Barthez.
On the list of candidates for the election scheduled for March 13, he joined the former boss of the Professional Football League (LFP) Frédéric Thiriez. Former player and coach Luis Fernandez has also shown his interest but without wanting to be top of the list himself.
The current president Noël Le Graët, 79, in office since 2011, has not yet formalized his wish to run for a new term, preferring to wait for the end of the elections in the leagues and local districts before taking a position.
