Michel Friedmann to appear on NDR Talk Show and book giveaway: “Land of Cockaigne burned down. About the fear of a new era”

On September 1st, the publicist and presenter Michel Friedmann will be a guest on the NDR Talk Show. We are giving away three copies of his new book “Land of Cockaigne burned down. About the fear of a new era”.

Michel Friedman, born in Paris in 1956, is a lawyer, philosopher, publicist, honorary professor and moderator. He is provocative, courageous, argumentative and articulate. As a former Vice President of the Central Council of Jews and Politicians, his unyielding stance against right-wing extremism and anti-Semitism in Germany earned him a great deal of respect, but also criticism and even hatred, and as a talk show host he gained the reputation of being uncomfortable asking questions. As the son of a Polish-Jewish family, he fights to ensure that his family’s history does not repeat itself. In his current book “Land of Cockaigne burned down. From the fear of the new era” he deals with the current political and socio-political situation in Germany, Europe and the world. Because in view of Corona, the climate crisis and war, according to Friedmann, the time of security is over, the feel-good society that has established itself over the last 30 years is a thing of the past.
