Michalis Katrinis was in Harilaou Trikoupi on Monday afternoon, in order to file his candidacy for the presidential elections in PaSoK.
In particular, Mr. Katrinis submitted to EDEKAP 14,000 signatures from members and executives of the party, but also citizens who support his candidacy, and of course his own.
“It is a resounding response to the attempts to manipulate the elections in PaSoK, since Mr. Katrinis far exceeded the limit of 5,000 signatures required – based on the statute – for those who run for office, by submitting 14,000 signatures, with full names, addresses and contact details. The answers of Michalis Katrinis are given during his tours throughout Greece, with the massive participation of citizens in the open dialogue processes he organizes”, says the relevant information.
In his statement, immediately after submitting the signatures for his candidacy, Mr. Katrinis said:
“I feel the need to say a big ‘thank you’ to the 14,000 citizens who signed and support my candidacy. Their love and trust is my strength.
The participation of citizens is the strength of PaSoK. It is the answer to every attempt at manipulation and control. We continue, with optimism and hope, for a great faction, democratic and victorious.”
