Michael Wendler: Because of this man, he didn’t move to Kansas with Laura

Michael Wendler seems to be comfortable in his new home in Florida. The planned move to Kansas apparently failed not least because of another man.

Fort Myers – When Michael Wendler advertised his villa in Cape Coral, most believed the pop singer was leaving Florida. There was wild speculation, even an escape by Michael Wendler and Laura Müller to Brazil did not seem to be ruled out. Because the country has no extradition agreement with Germany, where there was even an arrest warrant against the 49-year-old in the meantime.

Michael Wendler actually wanted to go to Kansas after selling his house

In fact, when Michael Wendler sold his house, it wasn’t about fleeing from law enforcement agencies, but rather about his own wallet. In view of the current situation on the real estate market in the USA, the musician, who had fallen into disrepute due to conspiracy theories, considered it sensible to sell his villa.

Still, it seemed at first as if the Florida chapter would end with the house sale. Michael Wendler spoke openly about moving to Kansas in the Midwestern States. That would have taken a bit of getting used to, not only with regard to the thermometer, but also culturally. Because Kansas – unlike Florida – is not necessarily known for glamor, glamor and glory.

Michael Wendler and Laura Müller: “Babcock Ranch” in Florida instead of moving to Kansas

Ultimately, the Dinslaken native moved away from his plans. Instead, Michael Wendler moved with his wife Laura Müller and the dog Tiger into a new apartment building not far from Fort Myers in Florida. The singer now lives in a closed complex called “Babcock Ranch” – the first solar-powered community in the US.

With the move within Florida, Michael Wendler does not want to set an example for sustainability and environmental protection – at least not primarily. One of the main reasons for staying in the Gulf of Mexico is Ron DeSantis, the governor of Florida.

The Republican, who is counted among the candidates for the presidential election in 2024, has one thing in common with Michael Wendler: Neither of them think too much of corona measures and vaccinations. In the spring of 2021, DeSantis spoke out in favor of lifting the mask requirement in schools, and even announced salary freezes for school principals who continue to require their students to wear a mask.

Michael Wendler is a fan of Florida Governor Ron DeSantis: “Hero”

So it’s no wonder that Florida seems to be paradise on earth for Michael Wendler. Michael Wendler describes DeSantis in a voice message on Telegram as a “hero” who “actually did everything right”. According to Michael Wendler, the fact that the corona numbers in Florida are currently lower than in other states is thanks to DeSantis.

The former DSDS juror sees this as the ultimate proof that the corona pandemic is a fake pandemic and that measures to protect against the virus, such as those imposed in democratic states, are “wrong and nonsensical”. What the American by choice neglects: Florida has experienced clearly gloomy Corona days in the past.

In August, noisy accounted for Editorial network Germany meanwhile one fifth of all hospital admissions for Covid in the USA in Florida. DeSantis paid a heavy price for the “freedom” of Florida. In the meantime, the special corona route in Florida has reached more and more political dimensions (more celebrity news at RUHR24).

Michael Wendler stays in Florida – probably also because of Governor DeSantis

According to political experts from the USA, it has long since ceased to be a question of different views on how to effectively combat the coronavirus. Rather, a power struggle has broken out between DeSantis-ruled Florida – the adopted home of ex-President Donald Trump – and the US government around President Joe Biden.

Michael Wendler has chosen one side, although his influence in this power struggle is likely to be negligible. But at least his “hero” DeSantis seems to be responsible for the fact that the pop singer has rejected plans to move to another state.
