– Insurmountable loss
It is with great sadness that the family announces the passing of the Emmy-nominated actor Michael Kenneth Williams. They are asking for privacy while mourning this insurmountable loss, a Williams representative told The Hollywood Reporter.
It was recently announced that Williams had been given the role of boxing star George Forman’s mentor and coach. The actor was nominated five times for an Emmy Award, including for the HBO series “Lovecraft Country”.
He also received recognition for his role as Chalky White in “Boardwalk Empire”.
Williams leaves behind his son Elijah Williams.
Williams’ scar over his face was among what was startling about him. On his 25th birthday, he was attacked by a stranger.
The guy pulled his hand over his mouth and hit me. What he did was spit out a razor blade. He positioned the mixture in his mouth to get it between his fingers. He also pulled it over my face, he has said in an interview with the radio channel NPR, according to Business Insider.
