Michael Jackson’s Iconic Leather Jacket Sells for Rs 2.54 Crore at London Auction

London: A leather jacket worn by pop star Michael Jackson in the 1980s was sold at an auction for Rs 2.54 crore. 200 items used by Jackson, including the jacket, have been auctioned in London. Each of these is expected to cost Rs 2 crore to Rs 4 crore.

In 1984, he first wore a black and white jacket in an advertisement for a soft drink company. Jackson’s hair caught fire during filming. Those commercials are best remembered for a serious burn incident. The auction also includes items from Elvis Presley, Queen and Johnny Marr.
