£60m is expected to be added to Jacko’s fortune by the end of the year.
Michael Jackson “earned” 60 million pounds 50 days after his death, the Daily Mirror reports. The money came from a movie deal and commercial contracts, people in charge of managing his estate said. A further £60million is expected to be added to Jacko’s fortune by the end of the year, taking him past Elvis Presley in posthumous earnings. It’s a new record that probably won’t be broken, said the King of Pop’s longtime attorney, John Branca. Music producer John McClaney and Branca were named executors of the musician’s will.
Jackson’s mother Catherine took action in court to become the third executor of the will and have a greater say in its distribution.
