Michael J. Fox (59) stops acting permanently due to declining health

Michael J. Fox will retire permanently. The actor, who suffers from Parkinson’s, took a break earlier in the late 1990s when the disease was diagnosed, but soon reappeared in front of the cameras.

However, now is the time to choose for himself and his family. He gives the reason that it is becoming increasingly difficult to memorize lines of text, so that he can only do limited performances, such as his recent cameo in Lil Nas X’s Christmas video clip.

Fox, which became legendary to most fans thanks to the Back To The Future sitcom trilogy Spin City, made the announcement in the LA Times: “There is a time for everything and my time of 7 pages of dialogue and 12-hour working days is now behind me. At least for now, because I am entering a second retirement. That may change, but if it means the end of my acting career, so be it”.

We too from MovieTotal wish Mr. Fox nothing but the very best!
