Michael Fischer is a founding partner of Fischer Ramp Buchmann AG.
He advises private individuals on national and international tax and social security matters, estate planning and asset structuring as well as in connection with philanthropic projects and governance issues. He advises foreign lawyers on Swiss legal issues and is a recognized expert in the tax treatment of trusts and other structures. He also supports family businesses and family offices in legal and tax matters. And he represents his clients in tax proceedings before all authorities and courts.
He is a member of the board of directors of various companies and the board of trustees of non-profit foundations.
Michael Fischer is a regular speaker at national and international conferences and congresses. He teaches international tax law at EXPERTsuisse (Course for qualified Tax experts), where he is head of the International Tax Law module.
He studied at the universities of Zurich and Vienna (lic. iur., 1999) and at the London School of Economics (LL.M., 2003). He has been a lawyer since 2002 and a qualified tax expert since 2010. Before founding Fischer Ramp Buchmann AG, Michael Fischer was an employee and partner of an international Swiss law firm in London (2003 to 2006) and in Zurich (from 2006) for 13 years.
