Michael Chapman, the cameraman of the Refugee, the Raging Bull and Jackson’s clip Bad, has died

Michael Chapman was born in New York in 1935. He gained experience, among other things, as an assistant cameraman for the film The Godfather, gradually developed into a chief cameraman and also tried directing in the film The Right Game in 1983.

Chapman received two Oscar nominations for the camera in the legendary films The Refugee with Harrison Ford and Furious Bull with Robert DeNir. In 2004, he received a special Lifetime Achievement Award from the American Society of Cinematographers.

His famous films include Ghostbusters 2, The Kindergarten Cop, Doctor Hollywood and Space Jam.

In 1987, he jumped into the music industry and made an 18-minute video for Michael Jackson.
