It’s actually hard to imagine a Christmas without Michael Bublé’s music. Apparently there won’t be any supplies of this in the future. In an interview on the podcast “The Diary of a CEO”, the singer revealed that he wants to put his music career on hold for the time being.
His explanation for the music break: “Every night I go out and put on this suit, and then when I go on stage, I’m the guy I always wanted to be.” Nevertheless, there is another Michael and he now wants to show him to the world.
About his life as a singer he says: “I make a great album, then I go to 40 countries to promote it and then I go on tour for a year and a half. I feel like I’ve reached a point in my career “I want to do something different. It’s about being the other person, not the suit guy, but Mike.”
The 48-year-old also has future plans. He could imagine appearing on TV and in films. However, he won’t lose his love for music anytime soon, as he himself says: “Music will always be my happy place and my love, but I need time for other things.”
In 2016, his then three-year-old son Noah was diagnosed with cancer. Noah has now beaten the illness. The diagnosis made dad Michael rethink his priorities. In the podcast, the singer goes on to explain how this shocking news opened his eyes: “I don’t think I set my priorities correctly,” he admits. Since then, his son and the health of his family have been the singer’s top priority.
