Carly Pearce collaborate with Michael Bublé in a spectacular video clip of their new Christmas duet, “Maybe this Christmas”.
Bublé composed “Maybe this Christmas” with composers Chase McGill, Greg Wells and Jann Arden, and arranger Nicholas Jacobson-Larson. The award-winning artist and coach of “The Voice” previously said that “this collaboration (with Pearce) developed so perfectly that it seems like fate intervened.”
“And all the snow that falls on the city / And the good souls below / It’s not the same when it falls / And turns to rain / Because it’s Christmas / You shouldn’t be alone / Again / Maybe this Christmas / You don’t have “than be alone again,” says the lyrics of the song.
“I wrote a Christmas song for people who may not like Christmas because you are suffering, because you are vulnerable, because it is a difficult time for many people. I wanted to write something that would give you hope,” Miachel said in a video on Instagram before the song’s release.
Pearce admitted that although he often doesn’t listen to Christmas music until after Thanksgiving, “for Michael Bublé and this time I’ll make an exception.”
