Miami International Airport will soon administer Pfizer vaccines on the spot to airport employees, their family and friends, and travelers living and working in Florida.
From May 10-14, anyone who wants to get vaccinated and meets the requirements can come to the airport and receive any of the doses of the Pfizer vaccine. Vaccinations will also be administered June 1-4 and June 7, 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.

The Miami airport will have two vaccination sites during those dates and times:
- Concourse D, 4th Floor Auditorium, above door 1
- Drive-through: 75 Bus Road, Miami, FL 33102
Anyone 18 years of age or older who lives and works in Florida can receive the vaccine, as described in the Governor’s Executive Order. Those who wish to be vaccinated between the ages of 16 and 17 can receive the Pfizer vaccine, but must be accompanied by a parent or guardian at the vaccination site.
Miami-Dade County offers a pre-registration system to expedite the immunization process for eligible individuals who complete a one-time online registration or call 305-614-2014. Anyone who does not pre-register may have to wait longer at the vaccination site.
The Pfizer vaccine requires a second dose after 21 days. Individuals will need to bring their COVID-19 Vaccination Record Card issued by the Center for Disease Control (CDC) and a government-issued ID to their second vaccination appointment – this would prevent in principle that said shifts be granted to travelers without permanent residence.
