Miami Heat takes controlling 2-0 lead over Boston Celtics in NBA Eastern Conference Finals

The Miami Heat repeated their triumph in the second game of the NBA Eastern Conference final after beating the Boston Celtics (111-105) at the TD Garden, to go up 2-0 and leave some Celtics on the ropes that they dominated the game until a bad last quarter that sentenced them.

The 36-22 partial for the Heat was as decisive as an action that could well have been the architect of the comeback for Miami; the ‘pique’ between Grant Williams (Celtics) and Jimmy Butlet (Heat) that heated up the Miami star and made him plug in almost everything until sealing the victory for his team.

Those of Erik Spoelstra, who got into the eighth place in these ‘Playoffs’, have the Celtics – they were second in the East – on the brink of the abyss and they did it with 27 points from Butler, but with the impeccable help of Bam Adebayo and his almost triple-double (22 points, 17 rebounds and 9 assists).

Jimmy Butler scored his last 9 points in the final 6 minutes of the game, all after being provoked by Celtic’s Grant Williams after the latter hit a triple. There they provoked each other, laughed, did ‘trash talk’ and, since then, Williams disappeared and Butler put his team behind his back to make it 2-0.

Emergency situation for the Celtics, because in the last two decades only three teams were able to turn around a 2-0 loss, being local, in the ‘Playoffs’; Dallas Mavericks (2005), LA Clippers (2021) and, yes, the Boston Celtics themselves in 2013. They know how to do it, but it’s not easy.
