Miami Heat Preseason Roster Updates: Alondes Williams and Jamal Cain Sign Exhibit 10 and Two-Way Contracts

The Miami Heat continue to add pieces to their preseason roster. As Shams Charania, a journalist from The Athleticthose from Florida have agreed to sign an Exhibit 10 with Alondes Williams, a contract that will make him part of the training camp and it will give you certain benefits in case you end up signing with the franchise or its G League affiliate.

Williams has only one game of experience in the NBA, played with the Nets last season. The point guard signed a contract two-way in summer and made his debut in a match against Indiana, in which he played 5 minutes that helped him capture a rebound and lose two balls. In January, however, he was fired, although he remained with the Long Island Nets and finished the course with them.

In the 24 games he played in the G League, his averages were more interesting, with 13.4 points, 4.5 rebounds and 3 assists in 27 minutes that have helped him stay on the NBA’s radar.

Jamal Cain will remain in the team

Likewise, Jamal Cain has accepted his qualified offer to remain linked to the team through a contract two-wayas stated by Adrian Wojnarowski, a journalist from ESPN. The power forward, who already signed an agreement like this last year, took the court wearing the Heat jersey 18 times, in which he averaged 5.4 points and 2.9 rebounds. We will see if this time he manages to have more opportunities and this decision is confirmed as the right one for him.
