Miami-Dade schools offer free vaccination schedule in January – NBC Miami (51)

Miami-Dade County Public Schools, in partnership with the University of Miami Health System’s Children’s Mobile Clinic, will offer flu shots, school-required shots, the COVID-19 vaccine and its boosters to eligible students this January .

The school authorities have informed that a prior appointment is not necessary, but the vaccination is subject to availability.

According to a statement from the Miami-Dade Public Schools, all persons under the age of 18 who receive a vaccine must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.

Infants receiving the COVID-19 vaccine must be at least six months old on the day they receive the vaccine to be eligible and must have completed the Vaccine Screening and Consent Form, which will be available at vaccination sites.
