Mia and Kimmo live in an open relationship – Now they are seen in a TV show –

Mia32, and Elastic36, applied Temptation Island Finland program to test their open relationship.

Kimmo has previous experience with an open relationship, for Mia this relationship is the first of its kind.

– I’ve been really trying to figure out if an open relationship is what I want. We went to see if you can see if the other person is doing something and how you feel about it, Mia tells Iltalehte at the program’s press conference.

The couple once met at a common workplace. Mia revealed that she was Kimmo’s workplace supervisor from the beginning. They quickly discovered that they have a similar sense of humor.

Now we’ve been dating for a year, but we’ve been friends for several years instead.

The boundaries agreed upon by the couple and the open form of the relationship include having sex with others.

– If you get to the emotional level and start noticing that you spend time with one person or go on dates with the same person all the time, Mia describes a possible boundary crossing.

– Otherwise, the boundaries are free and it’s okay to have sex with someone else, it belongs within the boundaries, he adds.

– As long as they are discussed, otherwise there is nothing to worry about, adds Kimmo.

The couple says that their long friendship helps them to recognize if the other one wakes up Tempers real feelings.

– We’ve been known for so long that you can see it from someone else, Kimmo says.

– You can at least notice Kimmo if he gets to an emotional level. You don’t have to guess in two steps, you can see it, Mia accompanies.

Mia describes Temptation Island – journey even easier and developing than expected.

– Of course, a lot of our own feelings and thoughts were discussed. You got a little deeper into the relationship and think about what kind of things we’ve talked about and whether we’ve talked about the right things, he says.

– I got a lot out of those three weeks. I didn’t expect it to be such a big bubble. It hurts and all sorts of things happen when a Finnish man is forced to talk about his feelings for three weeks, Kimmo reflects.

Although only Kimmo had experience with an open relationship, it also seemed like a good idea to Mia.

– I had a slightly more challenging relationship in the background. There was such a situation that I didn’t want the ball at my feet. It seemed like the right solution for that stage, when I still wanted to try and was the kind of person you wanted to be with, Mia says.

Any more Temptation Island – without revealing the outcome of the program, the couple says that they have discussed a lot of things even after the trip.
