Jakarta, Gatra.com-For Mi fans, Xiaomi’s new product is coming to the market soon. It is certain that Xiaomi will release the latest HP flagship on December 1, namely Xiaomi 13 and 13 Pro. Not only that, the two phones will be released simultaneously with Xiaomi OS, MIUI 14.
Xiaomi’s boss, Lei Jun, unveiled the plan by showing his official photo on Weibo, complete with the Leica logo. The Xiaomi 13 also features an OLED panel but not as curved as its predecessors, the Xiaomi 12 and Mi 11. This phone is expected to be the most comfortable phone to hold. Lei Jun said in her official Weibo account, Xiaomi 13 is a product that has been prepared for 3 years.
“The Xiaomi 13 and MIUI 14 new product launch conference is officially scheduled for December 1 at 7 pm (local time),” said Lei Jun, quoted from the official Weibo account on Monday (11/28).
The Xiaomi 13 is 71.5mm wide like the iPhone 14 and 14 Pro, but wider than the Xiaomi 12 which is 69.9mm wide. The Xiaomi 13 also appears to have a 1.61mm thick bezel on the top and sides. While the lower bezel has a thickness of 1.81 mm.
Quoted by GSM Arena on Tuesday (11/29), the Xiaomi 13 has an IP68 rating, on par with other Xiaomi flagship phones, namely the Mi11 which has the same rating. It is known, IP68 is a certification code issued by the International Electronic Commission, which means that this product can be carried by swimming at a depth of 1.5 meters for 30 minutes. IP Alone stands for Ingress Protection, which is the size of a water and dust resistant product.
Previously, there were rumors that the Xiaomi 13 would be offered to the market at a price point of 15-20% more expensive than the Xiaomi 12 when it was first released. Chinese news site CLS claims that perhaps the Xiamo 13 is offered starting at 4,500 Yuan (equivalent to Rp. 9.8 million) for the lowest variant. Even so, for the Mi Fans in Indonesia it seems they need to be patient. There is no confirmation yet when this Xiaomi 13 product will enter Indonesia.
In comparison, the lowest Xiaomi 12 variant when it was first released started at 3,699 Yuan (equivalent to Rp. 8.1 million). To be sure, the public will also be waiting for what new things will come from the Leica camera lens, which was also previously built into the Xiaomi 12S, which is only sold in China.
Meanwhile for MIUI 14, it is reported that it will bring the latest features which are quite interesting. The OS is reportedly being prepared for six months. Several applications, including recorders, clocks, and calculators, have new designs that are more convenient to use. MIUI 14 is expected to be incorporated for users of Xiaomi, Redmi and Poco devices.
