MGP winner will be dad again

The Melodi Grand Prix winner from 2017, Joakim «JOWST» With Steen (32), will soon be a father of two.

Together with Aleksander Walmann (36) he went to the top with the song “Grab the moment” in MGP. In the Eurovision final, the duo ended up in a respectable 10th place.

– It feels as if the family will be “complete”, Steen writes to Good evening Norway.

He and his cohabitant for almost 15 years, Rita Rybakova, already has a daughter Sofia (5).

«JOWST jr.»

The cohabitant is on his way for exactly six months, the musician says, and at the same time reveals that he will be a boy.

– This summer we will refurbish and prepare the children’s room for the upcoming boy we have not found a name for yet.

The news was first revealed on Instagram, where “JOWST” shared a picture of the cohabitant sticking to his stomach, with the text: “JOWST jr. on the way!”

Stays in the MGP universe

In the post, several from the music industry have come with congratulations, and “Grab the moment” vocalist Aleksander commented with as many as seven red hearts.

Although it has been many years since Steen participated in the MGP, he still stays in that universe.

Last year he released a song with Agnete Saba, who won MGP in 2016, and this summer will release a single with Kjetil Mørland. He and Debrah Scarlett walked away with the victory in 2015.
