The third generation MG 3 will debut on February 26 at the 2024 Geneva International Motor Show. MG’s European and Australian divisions confirmed the news on their social media accounts and also released teasers of the budget supermini.
As you’d expect, the hatchback looks like a smaller version of the MG 5 and MG 7 sedans and uses the brand’s latest styling. The front end features a sharp nose and aggressive headlights. The profile is more sculpted, with curved character lines reminiscent of the Seat Ibiza.
MG hasn’t released interior photos yet, but the new cabin is expected to include all the modern amenities to suit the needs of more discerning buyers. According to the latest reports, the MG 3 will be powered by a self-charging hybrid powertrain consisting of a 1.5-litre petrol engine, a single electric motor and a lithium-ion battery.
