Finland lost to Sweden (2:3) in the quarterfinals, the Czech Republic beat Switzerland (9:1). The USA will play Germany, Canada will play Slovakia.
The tournament was originally scheduled to take place in Novosibirsk and Omsk, but was eventually moved to Canada.
The Russian team was suspended from participating in the tournament.
