It was in the middle of the first half that Erdal Rakip went on a late tackle of AIK’s new acquisition Jesper Ceesay. The guests’ midfielder timed incorrectly and kicked one of Rakip’s feet.
Ceesay got a yellow card – and Rakip was very hurt.
For several minutes, the MFF cog received care and then he continued to play.
But in the 40th minute, Rakip was forced to give up and step down. Then it was no longer possible to continue playing.
– I do not think it’s serious. He may be away for a maximum of a week, says MFF coach Milos Milojevic.
He was replaced and came in instead Ola Toivonen, who is back after injury.
Malmö FF won in the end with 3-0 against AIK at Eleda Stadion.
